New eBay Store!
We just opened a store on eBay, Sunset Creations Yarn-n-Fiber Shop! We will be listing most of the yarns we have, so if you ever wanted to see what wonderfully colorful yarns we carry and haven't been able to come to the shop, now's your chance!

The Log Cabin Spin In went very well, despite the huge snow storm!  Thanks to all of you that were able to make it! I can only hope that next year will be better!

The dyeing class was a huge success!!! Thank you Kate and Martina!! Here are a few pictures!
Because it went so well, this class will become a regular feature during the warmer months, so that it can be conducted outside. So those of you that wanted to come, but couldn't make it, you will have more opportunities!

My storefront has been open for business since November 4th, 2006 and has been well received. We carry Brown Sheep's Lamb's Pride, Nature Spun, Prairie Silk (recently discontinued) and Burly Spun yarns; Southwest Trading Company's Gianna, Pure, Amaizing and Karaoke yarns; Cherry Tree Hill's Superwash Merino DK, Potluck Bulky, Silken Mohair and Merino Lace yarns; Blue Ridge Silk Works various hand-dyed sock yarns and needle cases; and a few Garden Party yarns handspun by Juaquetta Holcomb; as well as local productions through consignment. If I don't have the color or the particular line of yarn you are looking for from any of these companies, I can order it for you. While we do not carry spinning equipment, yet, we do have various spinning fibers. There are handpainted rovings of superwash wool and also of 70 count merino; handpainted silk from Cherry Tree Hill; rovings of alpaca, shetland and a generic wool that is great for dyeing. There is washed mohair and plucked and clipped angora bunny.

We also carry a selections of books and magazines from Interweave Press. The magazines include Spin Off, Interweave Knits (also the special editions when they come out) and Interweave Crochet.

We offer classes in: beginning knitting, crocheting and handspinning; make a beanie/cap and learn to use a circular needle and double pointed needles; socks; mittens; gloves; and a lace scarf. New classes will be added in the coming months.

Sunset Creations also has a varied selection of handknit items including: sweaters, hats, fingerless mitts, socks, etc., and handwoven placemats, handtowels and table runners.

While this is not a retail website, you can see what we have (as I get pictures up) and know when and which classes are offered on what dates. Please call or email for availability and pricing.

We are located in Palouse, Wa, on the NW corner of Highway 27 (Bridge St.) and Main St.

Thank you very much for visiting my site and I hope to see you soon!
